The London club announced the resignation of the 52-year-old coach. He had been in charge of Tottenham since June 2025.
“Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we were committed to providing him with the necessary time and support to build a future together. However, results and performance have led the board to conclude that a change is necessary at this stage of the season.
Throughout his time at the club, Thomas has shown unwavering commitment, dedicating himself fully to the club’s development. We want to thank him for his contribution and wish him well for the future,” the club said in a statement.
Tottenham are winless in their last eight Premier League games and have won just two of their last 17 league games. They lost 2-1 to Newcastle on Sunday.
