The Omani Foreign Ministry has issued a statement regarding the Iran-US talks. The statement makes it clear that the parties have already arrived at the venue for the talks and are preparing.
We already reported this morning that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Muscat.
“Under the auspices of the Sultanate of Oman, within the framework of the negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, this morning, Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held separate consultations with the Iranian delegation, led by Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, as well as with the US delegation, led by US President’s Special Representative Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
These consultations focused on creating favorable conditions for the resumption of diplomatic and technical negotiations,” the statement said.
