Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a mysterious note on his X page ahead of talks with the United States in Muscat, the Omani capital. The minister noted that they are entering the diplomatic process with open eyes and with last year’s memories.
“We are entering into cooperation with goodwill while resolutely defending our rights. Commitments must be maintained. Equality of the parties, mutual respect, and mutual benefit are not just slogans but an inevitable necessity and basis for a stable agreement,” the Iranian minister’s note says.
