US President Donald Trump and his special envoy, Steven Witkoff, are currently discussing the possibility of resolving the issue with Iran. This was announced by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who noted that the special envoy plans to meet with Iranian officials this week.
“This is an issue that the president and special envoy Witkoff are studying and discussing right now. Special envoy Witkoff is expected to hold negotiations with the Iranian side during the week,” Leavitt said on Fox News.
