The Iranian President has instructed Abbas Araghchi to begin negotiations with US representatives. The president wrote about this on his X page.
“Taking into account the requests of friendly governments in the region to respond to the offer of negotiations by the president of the United States, I have instructed my foreign minister, if there is an appropriate environment, free from threats and unreasonable expectations, to conduct fair and equal negotiations, guided by the principles of dignity, prudence, and expediency. These negotiations must be held within the framework of our national interests,” the Iranian president said in a post.
