In the Russian-Ukrainian war, more than 30 thousand Russian soldiers were killed in December 2025. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced this in Davos.
“In December, the Russians were losing a thousand people a day in the form of killed people. We are not talking about seriously wounded, but about the victims themselves. This is more than 30 thousand people in one month. In the 1980s, the USSR’s losses in Afghanistan amounted to 20 thousand people over 10 years. Now the loss of 30 thousand people has been recorded in just one month,” Rutte emphasized.
At the same time, the Secretary-General noted that Russia continues its offensive and intensifies its attacks.
