Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez has officially assumed the acting presidency of Venezuela. She was sworn in before the National Assembly.
“I decree that you, citizen Delcy Rodriguez Gomez, assume the duties of acting president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Congratulations,” said Congress Speaker Jorge Rodriguez during the inauguration ceremony, broadcast on TeleSur.
