Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the government session that, when discussing foreign policy and strategy, many issues are examined based on knowledge.
According to him, the diplomatic textbook states that there are no permanent friends or enemies, but only permanent interests. “I am convinced that this is an expression aimed at hiding the truth. In my perception, there are no enemies and friends; there are international relations.”
He also noted that a state matures when it understands that there are no friends or enemies.
“When you say that there are no friends and enemies, you focus on yourself and your actions and decisions, and when you think with a different logic, you constantly think about how to make this person make that decision, and the other person make that, and you fall into a trap where you are used as a playing card: one for his own, that for his own, and everyone for their own, and the only one who does not use you is you,” he noted.
According to the Prime Minister, being a state is not simple: “We are now in the logic of a state.”
