US President Donald Trump has addressed the Ukrainian settlement after a conversation with European leaders and Volodymyr Zelensky.
He described the conversation as a very good one and stressed that the negotiations are going well.
“And I had a long conversation with President Zelensky. I also spoke with the leaders of Germany, Italy, NATO, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands. We had very long and excellent conversations. And again, I think everything is going quite well,” Trump said.
According to Trump, this is the largest war since World War II that has to end.
“But we are getting there. We have tremendous support from European leaders. They want this to end, too. And right now, Russia wants this to end, too. The problem is, they will want it to end, and then all of a sudden, they won’t. “And Ukraine would like this to end, and then all of a sudden they wouldn’t. So we need them to be on the same page. But I think it’s moving forward. This is an excellent conversation,” Donald Trump emphasized.
