Time magazine has announced that Leonardo DiCaprio has been named “Artist of the Year” for 2025. The actor is featured on the cover of the magazine’s new issue.
The publication notes that DiCaprio, who has a career spanning more than 30 years, “has a knack for making the wrong choices, but actually making the right ones.” Time emphasizes that this is the result of his good intuition: he works with people he trusts and invests in projects he believes in.
DiCaprio’s first significant role was in 1993’s “This Boy’s Life,” in which he starred opposite Robert De Niro. Recently, Paul Thomas Anderson’s film “One Battle After Another” was released, becoming one of the year’s leading contenders for Golden Globe nominations and starring DiCaprio.
Time adds that one reason for DiCaprio’s continued success is his artistic appearance.
Leonardo DiCaprio is now 51 years old. He has starred in more than 50 films and has won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, a Silver Bear, and numerous other prestigious awards.
