American pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially confirmed their relationship.
Perry, 41, posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram from a joint trip to Japan with Trudeau.
In one photo, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are smiling and taking a selfie, their faces very close together. In another, they are trying sushi together.
The singer arrived in Japan as part of her Lifetimes Tour. Earlier this week, Trudeau, 53, reposted a photo on X showing him and Perry with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko.
Until now, neither Perry nor Trudeau had publicly commented on their relationship. However, numerous joint photos that have appeared on social networks in recent months have only strengthened rumors of a romantic connection.
In October, TMZ published photos and video showing Perry and Trudeau walking hand-in-hand out of the Crazy Horse Paris theater-cabaret in Paris. The outing coincided with the singer’s 41st birthday and is considered their first public appearance together.
Katy Perry was previously in a 10-year relationship with actor Orlando Bloom. The couple split this summer. They have a 5-year-old daughter.
