The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has once again reacted harshly to the statements of US President Donald Trump:
“After Trump canceled the Budapest summit and the imposition of new sanctions against Russia, are there still those who have illusions? The US is our adversary, and its talkative “peacemaker” is now fully on the path to war with Russia. Yes, he does not always actively fight on the side of Bandera Kiev, but this is his conflict now, not the marasmic Biden’s. Of course, they will say that he could not have done otherwise; he was pressured in Congress, etc. This does not change the main point: the decisions made are an act of war against Russia. And now Trump has fully allied himself with crazy Europe,” he emphasized.
According to Medvedev, Trump’s statements also have positive sides: “You can defeat Ukraine right on the battlefield and hit the country with all kinds of weapons, solving the problem without sitting at the table.”
