The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, received the Ambassadors accredited to NATO who visited Armenia. The meeting discussed the current state of the Armenia-NATO partnership and possible ways to expand cooperation further.
The NA Speaker emphasized the importance of deepening relations between Armenia and NATO, stressing the need for assistance in the development of democratic institutions, ensuring the rule of law, and improving the security system.
The Ambassadors, in turn, emphasized NATO’s readiness to continue supporting Armenia in implementing reforms, increasing the efficiency of governance, and in the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, various issues related to regional developments and the peace agenda were also touched upon.
