Trump wrote on his Twitter account that he looks forward to hosting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the White House tomorrow for a historic peace summit.
“Tomorrow, President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan will join me at the White House for a formal peace treaty signing ceremony. The United States will also sign bilateral agreements with both countries to jointly explore economic opportunities and fully realize the potential of the South Caucasus region. I am very proud of these courageous leaders who have made the right decision for the great people of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This will be a historic day for Armenia, Azerbaijan, the United States, and the world.”
