On July 24 and 27, no precipitation is expected in the territory of the republic. On July 25 and 28, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected at night and in the afternoon in separate regions, with hail also possible.
The wind is southwest, 2-5 m/s, during thunderstorms; a wind speed of 17-20 m/s is expected. On July 24-26, in the evening hours of Armavir, in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, a wind speed of 15-18 m/s is expected. The air temperature is not likely to change significantly.
On July 24, 25, 27, and 28, no precipitation is expected in Yerevan. On July 25, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in separate parts of the city during the night and evening. During the thunderstorm and in the evening, the wind speed is expected to increase to 16-19 m/s.
Due to the penetration of a tropical warm air wave from the south, a high thermal background is expected in the Ararat Valley, Syunik Valley zone, and Yerevan on July 24. Between 16:00 and 17:00, the daytime temperature will be +38 to +40 degrees. A high fire hazard situation is also expected in the mentioned areas, as well as in the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor for the next 5 days.
