US President Donald Trump has announced that he will visit China shortly. He confirmed that he has already been invited to the country by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The American leader made such a statement at the White House during a meeting with his Philippine counterpart, Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
When asked whether he would meet with Vladimir Putin in China, the US president replied that it was possible. However, he did not directly confirm this information.
“We have a lot of potential meetings planned. President Xi invited me to China, and we will likely visit there shortly. It is not soon, but it is not far off either. Many leaders have invited me, and we will make decisions about it shortly,” Trump said.
Recall that earlier, Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that he did not rule out the possibility of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing in September.
