Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President Donald Trump of the United States of America on the occasion of Independence Day. The message reads:
“Dear Mr. President,
On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Armenia, as well as on my behalf, I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of the United States of America on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day.
The historic friendship between our peoples unites Armenia and the United States, as we share a commitment to democratic principles and Christian values, and an unwavering dedication to freedom, dignity, and justice.
Armenia attaches great importance to deepening our strategic partnership with the United States and further expanding cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including trade, high technology, energy, mining, transportation, and infrastructure. Through joint efforts, we will bring our relations to a higher level for the benefit of the people of Armenia and the United States.
I greatly appreciate your vision of resolving conflicts and promoting peace in the world. Under your leadership, the United States will make a fundamental contribution to establishing long-awaited peace, stability, and prosperity in the South Caucasus. I reaffirm the Government of the Republic of Armenia’s unwavering commitment to the peace agenda, based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of internationally recognized borders, as well as the “Peace “in line with the principles of the “Crossroads” project, aimed at unblocking regional infrastructure.
Once again, congratulating you on the occasion of the US Independence Day, I wish you good health, success, and new achievements, and to the people of the United States – peace, prosperity, and continued progress.”
