Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that the Iranian people will stand firm in the face of a forced war.
“This people will not surrender to anyone under duress,” he said in a televised address.
Khamenei also addressed US President Trump’s statements, saying:
“Smart people who know Iran, the Iranian people, and their history will never speak to these people in the language of threats because the Iranian people cannot surrender, and the Americans should know that any military intervention by the US will certainly be accompanied by irreversible damage.”
