Armenia has had to try to restructure and improve its security system, and this process is ongoing, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said. At the same time, he assured us that Armenia would not reform its allied relations with Russia.
“I want to answer very directly: no. Our obligations, rights, and intentions towards each other are written on paper, signed, added, and no one has dissolved them,” he said. He added that the Armenian side’s concerns are also known, and the planned measures have not always worked as intended. “We can discuss the issue of the effective operation of the established mechanisms. But the issue of reformatting these mechanisms and relations in general is not on our agenda.”
