On April 16, in most regions of the republic, on the night of April 17, and in the daytime of the 20th, precipitation is expected in some regions, areas – heavy, in mountainous regions, as well as in the foothills of Lori, Tavush, and Syunik – in the form of snow. No precipitation is expected on the day of April 17, 18-19, and the night of the 20th.
Heavy snowfall will be observed in the foothills of Shirak, Lori, and Tavush, in the mountainous regions of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor, in Gegharkunik, and in the mountainous and foothill zones of Syunik. The snow cover may reach 30-40 cm or more in some mountainous regions.
No frosts are expected in the valley and foothill zones of the republic, where fruit trees are blooming.
The wind is southwest, 2-5 m/s. On April 16, the wind is expected to increase to 14-17 m/s in some places. The air temperature will gradually increase by 10-12 degrees on April 17-20.
In Yerevan, rain is expected from time to time on April 16, the evening of the 20th. No precipitation is expected on April 17-19, the night of the 20th.
