Chinese President Xi Jinping noted during his meeting with the Spanish Prime Minister that the modern world is facing accelerating epoch-making changes, which bring with them numerous risks and challenges. According to him, only through unity and cooperation can it be possible to maintain world peace and stability and promote global development and prosperity.
Xi Jinping noted that China has always regarded the European Union as an essential pole in a multipolar world and openly supports its unity, development, and growth. Under the current circumstances, he said, jointly building a peace, growth, reform, and civilization partnership between China and the EU is of great practical significance.
According to him, there will be no winners in a tariff war, and going against the world means self-isolation.
According to him, regardless of changes in the external situation, China will maintain confidence and focus on its domestic affairs. China and the EU are the world’s largest economies and staunch supporters of economic globalization and free trade.
