During his working visit to Abu Dhabi, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Al Mazroui, and the Executive Director of Etihad Rail, Shadi Malak, at his residence.
During the meeting, the parties had comprehensive discussions on the prospects for implementing various investment programs in sectors of mutual interest for the countries. The importance of realizing the existing cooperation potential in infrastructure, energy, high technologies, and other priority sectors was particularly emphasized.
The parties mutually appreciated Armenia’s stable partnership with the Emirates and their close cooperation, which deepened year by year, noting the positive dynamics of bilateral relations development.
During the conversation, thoughts were exchanged on implementing the Armenian government’s “Crossroads of Peace” project.
The meeting also touched upon the need to take practical steps to strengthen ties between the countries business communities, which will contribute to the further development of economic ties.
The interlocutors agreed to collaborate to improve the investment climate, noting that this process is essential for the economic development of both countries.
