US President Donald Trump has announced that the “Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists” have been destroyed in the last two weeks of strikes. Many of their fighters and leaders are no longer there.
“We are hitting them every day and every night, harder and harder. Their ability to threaten shipping and the region is rapidly being eroded. Our attacks will continue until they no longer threaten freedom of navigation.
The choice for the Houthis is clear: stop shooting at American ships, and we will stop shooting at you. Otherwise, we have just begun, and the real pain is yet to come for both the Houthis and their sponsors in Iran,” Trump wrote on the social network.
