Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Edgar Zakaryan received the French Development Agency (AFD) delegation. The AFD’s mission is to assess Armenia’s macroeconomic and financial situation.
During the meeting, Edgar Zakaryan briefly presented the main directions and priority sectors of Armenia’s economic policy, export, and import opportunities within the framework of economic diversification, state support instruments, and significant investment programs implemented in the country.
The Deputy Minister also discussed the creation of industrial zones and logistics centers in accordance with international standards planned in Armenia. Edgar Zakaryan also presented the “Crossroads of Peace” project to promote regional connectivity.
