The “transport.yerevan.am” website has been launched. By entering the public service number, you can familiarize yourself with the new ticket packages, use the calculator to calculate the most affordable ticket, and check whether you are included in the privileged group. This was announced by the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, at the start of the procedural meeting of the Yerevan Municipality.
“transport. Yerevan.am” portal is the first service of the unified platform of services the Yerevan community provides. This platform allows Yerevan residents to have a personal office and access to all services in one environment with one user account. There will be no need to visit different websites or have user accounts. This is what is implemented in many developed cities,” said Tigran Avinyan.
Suren Grigoryan, the deputy mayor of Yerevan, also mentioned that the tools at “transport.yerevan.am” will be expanded. “Purchasing tickets by attaching a bank card as a carrier will be possible.”
Responding, Tigran Avinyan added that from January 1, we are switching to the exclusively non-cash payment method of the transport ticket system.
“The previous tariffs will still apply. The new ticket tools will also work. In January, we must completely ensure this transformation, switching from the old to the new model.”
