Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan met with Minister of the Armed Forces of France Sebastien Lecornu during his working visit to France.
At the beginning of the meeting, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan expressed his condolences to the cyclone victims on the French overseas island of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
During the meeting, the current course of cooperation between Armenia and France in defense was discussed. Suren Papikyan emphasized the steady implementation of the previously reached agreements with Sebastian Lecorne and the new agreements to be reached during this meeting.
The parties confirmed that the cooperation was established on a long-term and institutional basis. French Minister of Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu confirmed the readiness to develop the collaboration.
