The Hollywood Reporter reports that 12 cassette tapes with unpublished recordings of pop king Michael Jackson were found in an abandoned warehouse in California.
They were said to have been recorded before the release of “The Dangerous” album around 1989-91. According to the American who discovered the collection, the warehouse used to belong to music producer and singer Brian Loren.
Among the unreleased recordings is a song called “Don’t Believe It, “which refers to the media rumors about the pop star.
In another recording, Jackson explains the meaning of the song “Seven Digits,” which refers to the identification number given to corpses at the morgue. One of the more interesting tracks is “Truth on Youth,” a rap duet between Jackson and LL Cool J. The rapper has previously spoken about working with Jackson, confirming that they have recorded music together. This song is distinguished by the fact that Jackson raps.
Unfortunately for avid Michael Jackson fans, the tapes will not be released, and the person who discovers them will likely be one of the few who will ever hear the songs.
