Recently, the delegation led by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Major General Karen Grigoryan, visited the Republic of Italy.
During the visit, the delegation participated in an event related to the Armenia-Italy 2024 cooperation program (ITA4) in the field of defense.
During the meeting with Brigadier General Dello Monaco, Commander of the Engineering Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Italy, and several brigade officials, several issues related to the development and deepening of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense were discussed within the framework of the EU and NATO.
During the meeting, the host side presented details of the activities carried out in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Italy, the training of engineering troops, the training of specialists, exercises and training, and engineering during peacekeeping missions.
