Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, and Gregor Viran, head of the OECD/SIGMA program, attended the event dedicated to the start of the progress evaluation process of the OECD/SIGMA project in the direction of public administration in Armenia. Representatives of state administration system departments participated in the event.
The Deputy Prime Minister made a welcome speech, during which he thanked the European Union and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development SIGMA project team for implementing this critical initiative in Armenia on behalf of the government.
“I am sure that as a result of joint work, next year we will have a comprehensive report that will allow us to identify the problems, evaluate the results and achievements of the work carried out so far, and adjust our future actions within the framework of public administration reforms,” said Mher Grigoryan.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of active and proactive participation of all bodies of the state administration system in the evaluation process of SIGMA.
