On November 12, during his visit to Sweden, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Stockholm City Council Chairman Olle Burrell.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of establishing cooperation between Yerevan and Stockholm. They highlighted particular directions such as the green transition, the continuous introduction of innovations in various spheres of urban life, and the increase of women’s and civil society’s involvement in local self-government bodies.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Olle Burrell exchanged thoughts on the importance of democratic reforms and the challenges of promoting democracy in modern conditions, emphasizing the imperative of active interaction on different platforms and levels to overcome these challenges.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Mirzoyan, guided by Olle Burrell, took a short tour of the city council’s historic building.
