There is one week left until the US presidential elections. On November 5, it will become clear who will lead the world’s No. 1 superpower, and accordingly, it will be possible to get an idea of the direction in which US political life will go, with its evident influence on the geopolitical situation.
Various US research centers conduct polls to determine voters’ preferences. However, the election outcome will depend on the voting of 7 swing states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona and Georgia. According to opinion polls, the difference between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in all states is, at best, 1 percent, and the permissible deviation of polls is calculated to be 2-5 percent. Only in the states of Georgia and Arizona has the dynamic changed in the last week in favor of Trump, within 2-3 percent. This statistic means that it is impossible to make reliable predictions based on the data from public opinion polls.
