Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan received Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, yesterday.
The minister highly appreciated the work done by the EU ambassador in all spheres of cooperation with the ministry. During the meeting, several issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
In particular, issues related to working with communities, the energy sector, road construction, and road safety improvements were discussed.
Issues related to the aviation sector were also discussed. Minister Sanosyan thanked the ambassador for his support, especially in this field.
Questions regarding the “Crossroads of Peace” program were discussed. The head of the EU delegation reaffirmed the EU’s support for the “Crossroads of Peace” project presented by the Government.
The EU ambassador said they are ready to support the restoration of infrastructures damaged by the disaster in the Lori and Tavush regions.
