Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the RA Security Council, who is in Berlin on a working visit, met with Jens Plötner, Advisor on Foreign and Security Policy of the Chancellor of the GDR.
The interlocutors emphasized with satisfaction the political dialogue between Armenia and Germany and emphasized further deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation. They also discussed the implementation process of the agreements that have already been reached.
At the meeting, the parties detailed regional and extra-regional developments. Touching upon the security situation in the South Caucasus, they exchanged ideas on the latest developments in the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations. The Secretary of the Security Council emphasized Armenia’s readiness to conclude the peace treaty with Azerbaijan as soon as possible.
