The wind is northwesterly at 2-5 m/s, and wind intensification is expected at a speed of 16-20 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 6-9 degrees on October 17-19.
Rain and thunder are expected occasionally in Yerevan on October 16-18. The rains will be heavy in the late evening of the 16th and on the night of the 17th and 18th. Wind intensification at a speed of 15-18 m/s is expected during the thunderstorm. Short rain is expected in the afternoon of October 19 and 20.
Due to heavy rainfall on October 17 and 18, a significant increase in water output is expected in most of the republic’s rivers.
