Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan met with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Principality of Andorra, Carles Enseñat Reig, who is on an official visit to Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed the existing relations between Armenia and Andorra and the prospects of cooperation. The activation of high-level mutual visits and contacts was emphasized. Thoughts were exchanged on information technology and digital management, exchange of experience, and bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, tourism, and other fields.
Reference was made to the steps taken by RA in the direction of establishing peace in the South Caucasus. Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented the interlocutor with details on the process of the Armenia-Azerbaijan relations settlement, reaffirming the interest of the Armenian side in establishing stability in the South Caucasus and emphasizing the importance of not creating artificial obstacles on the way to the conclusion of the peace treaty and signing the treaty in a short period.
Several other international and regional issues were also discussed at the meeting.
