Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recorded a video message calling on the Lebanese to leave the areas where the Hezbollah movement keeps weapons. He warned that being near these places is dangerous.
“I have a message for the people of Lebanon. Israel is not at war with you but with Hezbollah, which has used you as human shields for far too long. He has placed rockets in your living rooms and garages. To protect our people, we must eliminate these weapons,” he said.
The calls for the Lebanese to leave dangerous areas come amid massive Israeli air strikes on Lebanese territory.
“I urge you to take this warning seriously. Don’t let Hezbollah put you and your loved ones’ lives at risk. Don’t let Hezbollah endanger Lebanon,” Netanyahu said.
