– The situation in Lebanon escalated again. Explosions of pagers and walkie-talkies were followed by a rocket attack on a building in the southern suburbs of Beirut, as a result of which one of the essential figures of Hezbollah was killed. Hezbollah promised to give an adequate response. It is an uncertain situation, overstressed and expectant.
– In the current situation, what developments can we expect from the Iranian side? Will the probability of large-scale military operations on the Israel-Iran front increase again?
– At this moment, the rules of the war game are working. Iran’s response will be through Hezbollah. Target is, in some ways, the transition to volume, but I don’t think that limited will become comprehensive. The clashes in Gaza are coming to an end, which is why Israel is revitalizing the second front.
– The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Kyiv. And on September 26, the USA and Ukraine presidents’ meeting, Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky, will occur in Washington. What significance can these meetings have for the further course of the Russian-Ukrainian war?
– A hybrid war of attrition is underway. The collective West has set the task of keeping Moscow involved in this war. A geopolitics of reshaping the spheres of influence and domains of independent Russia is being applied.
– US presidential candidate Kamala Harris is expected to meet with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky next week. Can this meeting increase Harris’s rating and affect the results of the elections?
The current American approach involves establishing peace in the Middle East and fighting the Russian Federation uncompromisingly by supporting Ukraine. On the eve of the elections, establishing a cease-fire in Gaza or a specific advance by Ukraine may somewhat affect the results.
