According to the reasons for the decision, “The organization must conduct a comparative study between all the proposed technologies and feasibility studies (documents of the proposed technologies are significant, several thousand pages, and related to many professional fields), based on which it will present its professional proposal on the choice of technology, which should be a comprehensively substantiated document. After the RA government approves the latter, the organization must negotiate and prepare the documents related to the construction, financing, possession, and operation of the new nuclear power unit/s.
Once the law on the construction of a new nuclear power unit is enacted by the National Assembly, the new company will step into its role with a sense of responsibility. It will manage, organize, and be accountable for the construction of the new nuclear power unit, ensuring that the project is implemented as planned.
