The US Department of State presented Washington’s position on the possible withdrawal of Armenia from the CSTO, saying that making such a decision is within the jurisdiction of official Yerevan.
“This is for the government of Armenia to decide, and we respect it. We have not seen anything that would testify that Russia’s military presence contributes to the South Caucasus being a more peaceful and stable region,” the US State Department responded to the request of the Armenian service of “Voice of America.”
