Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Sargis Khandanyan, met US Deputy Secretary of State Brandon Yoder on May 20. Maria Karapetyan, a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, and Arpine Davoyan, a member of the Standing Committee on State-Legal Affairs, participated in the meeting.
Welcoming the guest, Sargis Khandanyan emphasized the dynamic development of Armenia-US relations, which cover many areas of mutual interest, and that there is great potential for development in the relations between the two countries.
Brandon Yoder thanked me for the opportunity to meet and expressed his belief that relations with Armenia will develop and strengthen.
During the meeting, the MPs presented the reform process implemented in the law enforcement and judicial spheres and thanked the American side for its continuous support of these reforms.
Issues related to regional security were also discussed.
