President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, expressed his condolences to the people of Iran on the death of President Ebrahim Raisi.
“We are deeply shocked by the news of the tragic death of President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan, and other accompanying persons as a result of the helicopter crash that occurred in our brotherly and friendly Iran and its people. In the death of President Raisi, the people of Iran lost an outstanding statesman who had served his country selflessly and devotedly throughout his life. His bright memory will always remain bright in our hearts.
On this sad day, I wish that the Most High would show patience to Iran’s friendly and brotherly people. Sharing your grief, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deepest condolences to you, to the families and relatives of the victims, to your entire people.” it is said in the message.
