Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent congratulatory messages to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, on the occasion of Nowruz.
In the message addressed to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, it is stated:
“I sincerely congratulate you on the Iranian New Year, Nowruz. May the coming year be marked by exceptional success and peace for the people of neighboring and friendly Iran. I am confident that Armenia-Iran relations will continue their steady course, developing in an atmosphere of mutual respect and matching interests.
I sincerely hope that, by fully utilizing the great potential of our bilateral relations, we will reach new horizons of cooperation in the current year, benefiting the well-being and regional stability of the two friendly peoples.
Considering the occasion a good one, I wish you good health, plenty of sunshine, and the people of Iran’s lasting well-being.”
It is said in the message addressed to the President of Iran.
“I warmly congratulate you and the people of Iran on the occasion of Nowruz, the holiday of the awakening of nature and the arrival of spring. I wish that the new year will be a year of unbroken peace and new achievements for the neighboring and friendly Islamic Republic of Iran.
Our government and people attach particular importance to Armenia-Iran relations based on mutual respect and trust.
Thanks to our joint efforts, we will give a new charge to the rich agenda of bilateral relations in the shortest period, and many current and planned programs will be implemented.
Taking the occasion as an opportunity, I wish you new achievements, success, peace, and well-being, and I wish our friendly Iranians the same.”
