“Our partnership with the EU has never been so intense. Naturally, all possible options are discussed. Of course, we carry out that process together with the EU. And, as the Prime Minister mentioned, decisions arising from Armenia’s interests will be adopted if necessary.” Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan announced this in a briefing with journalists.
Referring to the statement of the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom that they are ready to support Armenia in the event of threats from Russia, Hovhannisyan said that it is better to address that question to UK officials. “As for our relations, you know that last year a new format of cooperation was established, a format of strategic dialogue with the UK; we had a number of important visits, and our relations with that country have new dynamics; I cannot give any other comments.”
