“Chairman of the Security Committee of the European Parliament, one of the main figures of the anti-Azerbaijani network, Natalie Loiseau, whom Nikol Pashinyan awarded a medal at the Munich summit on February 19, stated that their main goal is the activity of the European mission located in the region. The strategic goal is to prepare the ground for NATO military forces to invade the region. The reason for the incident on the border on February 12 was to bring the Western military corps into the “Zangezur Corridor.” As reported by APA, the parliamentary committee chairman, Zahid Oruj, said this at today’s Mejlis session.
Zahid Oruj also referred to the interview of EU Ambassador to Armenia Vasilis Maragos on February 12 and emphasized that the EU plans to invest 110 million euros in Syunik for security. “A question arises: our country has announced that it will take back those territories by military means; why is the EU investing so much money in Zangezur?”
According to the Azerbaijani MP, EU missions in different countries aim to exploit the economic resources of those countries through conflict management.
“Therefore, the international missions should not forget that the Azerbaijanis, who are the historical owners of these lands, will open the road to Zangezur,” he threatened.
