“Continuing the summary references to the developments of relations with partners in the European direction in 2023, we should note that in 2023, the strategic dialogue between the Republic of Armenia and the United Kingdom was launched, the first session of which was held in November within the framework of the visit of Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to London.
The official opening ceremony of the new building of the RA Embassy in London also marked the visit of the Foreign Minister.
During the year, the visits of the Minister of European Affairs of the United Kingdom, Leo Docherty, to the region were also held, as were the contacts of the RA Foreign Minister with the newly appointed Foreign Minister of the UK, David Cameron.
Active discussions with the executive and legislative bodies, research, and media circles of the United Kingdom aimed to develop bilateral political dialogue, cooperation on multilateral platforms, and mutual understanding of regional issues. To develop economic cooperation, an Armenian-British business forum was organized in London.”
