On December 5, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan participated and made an opening speech at the “New Regional Reality and “Crossroads of Peace” expert forum, in the framework of which experts from Armenia, Georgia, Iran, India, and Turkey gathered. Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani, and Ambassador of India to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha also attended the conference and made an opening speech.
In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the role of such platforms in policy development aimed at expanding the dialogue between academic research communities and governments and making more effective decisions.
Mnatsakan Safaryan referred to Armenia’s potential to bridge the North to the South and the East to the West, presenting Armenia’s vision of a peaceful neighborhood and an interconnected wider region reflected in the “Crossroads of Peace” project developed by the RA government.
