Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day. The message says:
“Accept my sincere congratulations to you and the friendly people of the Republic of Iraq on the occasion of Iraq’s national holiday, Independence Day.
I fondly remember our meeting in Munich in February of this year and the fruitful discussions, which were evidence of high-level political contacts between Armenia and Iraq. I also attach great importance to the convening of the meeting of the Armenian-Iraqi Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation this year and the protocol signed as a result. With the full implementation of the provisions of this protocol, which indicates new ways and opportunities for deepening Armenian-Iraqi cooperation, Armenian-Iraqi relations will enter a new, more dynamic stage of development.
On the occasion of Independence Day, I wish you good health and happiness and the people of Iraq lasting peace and prosperity.”
