Azerbaijan carried out a large-scale operation in Nagorno-Karabakh. No one can believe that it was not deliberate. French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said this during the urgent session of the UN Security Council on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
“France immediately and strongly condemned this unacceptable attack. Dozens of people were killed, and hundreds were injured. The rights of the Armenian people living in Nagorno-Karabakh are at risk. That possibility does not exist if the strong party deliberately uses force against the weak.
If Azerbaijan wants to reach a peaceful and negotiated solution, it is obliged to give tangible guarantees now and here. We cannot be passive because, that way, we will be complicit in the mass emigration of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
We must be alert if they try to involve RA in these tragic events, using it as an excuse to question RA’s integrity.
