At the start of the rally following the pre-election march of the “Civil Contract” party, the deputy mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, greeted all the residents of the administrative district.
“It’s not been three weeks that we’ve been walking around all the districts and streets; for almost a year, there hasn’t been a yard or a street that we haven’t visited, and we haven’t talked about Yerevan and our problems,” said Avinyan.
According to the deputy mayor, these elections are political because if we had spent decades building our kindergarten yards, building our schools, and raising the quality of our universities, our economy and army would be strengthened, and maybe many things would be different.
“We no longer have time to wait, act, look for excuses, or blame. We only have time to work hard to restore all the infrastructure of Yerevan,” said Tigran Avinyan.
