Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani.
President of SRC Rustam Badasyan welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador on his assumption of office, highlighting the need to develop Armenian-Iranian bilateral relations, especially between the customs and tax authorities of the two countries.
During the meeting, the newly appointed Ambassador emphasized the contribution of the practical work of the customs service in the context of the increase in trade between the two countries. The parties discussed issues of mutual interest, such as road tolls, matters related to the international transportation of cargo using the IDR booklet, the need for electronic data exchange, and the work being carried out in that direction.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to continuously monitor the achievement of satisfactory results in the direction of critical issues.
